Come and join us at Louis Engel Waterfront on Thursday, July 3rd, 2025, for Ossining's annual firework display and the opening of the Riverjam concert series.
Please note that the following parking and road closure plans will be in place to ensure the safety and well-being of the many attendees anticipated for this year’s fireworks:
- There will be no attendee parking permitted on the west side train station parking lot (see map below)
- The Secor Road bridge will close at 3 pm on July 3rd. After 3 pm, only emergency and authorized vehicles will be permitted to cross the bridge.
- Vendors and Band Vehicles will be admitted until 4:30 to set up. The police will direct vendors to their spots. No one will be permitted to move their vehicle out of the event area until after the event and after all attendees have cleared the area.
- NO VEHICLES (OTHER THAN OPD, EMERGENCY RESPONSE, PRISON AND COUNTY VEHICLES) WILL BE PERMITTED TO ENTER OR LEAVE THE WEST SIDE PARKING LOT AFTER 4:30 – ANY VENDOR/BAND VEHICLE ARRIVING AFTER 4:30 PM WILL NEED TO PARK IN THE DESIGNATED EVENT PARKING SPACES.
- Attendee parking will be available on a first-come basis on the east side of the tracks and along Westerly Road. However, Westerly Road will be closed at the Secor Bridge overpass starting at 3 pm.
- The taxi stand is located on the east side, as indicated below.
- The Snowden Avenue bridge will be open throughout the evening for restaurant, resident and marina access.
- A total of twenty five (25) handicap parking spaces will be located on Westerly Road near the train station elevator and in the east side train station lot by the train station elevator.
- Please use sidewalks and do not walk in the street to ensure your safety and the safety of others.
- Parking in Croton and taking the Metro North Train one stop south offers a convenient way to attend the fireworks while beating the traffic.
All cars parked in the west side train station parking lot must be removed by 1 pm on Thursday, July 3rd. All Violators will be ticketed and towed.
